About Hedda Gabler

A woman of dangerous independence restrained by a conventional marriage, the newly married Hedda mourns the freedom and excitement of her former life by indulging in a cruel game, amusing herself with the misfortune she inflicts on those around her.

By Henrik Ibsen, “Hedda Gabler” is a classic of 19th century drama and features an unforgettably flawed, fiery character. This unique version is adapted by acclaimed American playwright Jon Robin Baitz (Other Desert Cities). Produced by Brooke Aiello and directed by Heather Parish.

This is an independent production by The New Ensemble and is not affiliated with Fresno Pacific University.  Produced by special arrangement with Dramatists Play Service, New York, NY.
